It's gonna be such a long long day once again~
tuesday oh tuesday..

Anyways! many people birthdays are here,
some have passed and some are coming really soon~

16 July:
Aaron's (cousin) 17th birthday
Shawn Koh's 18th birthday

sort of celebrated for both of them hahah.

yeah i went out to celebrate Aaron's birthday on Sat.
Thought there were more people coming
but in the end they couldn't make it,
and so being the nice me, i celebrated for him haha.
rights. okays.

So.. i went back to workplace to return cab fare change first
then we took mrt to cityhall,
and finally decided to eat at Pasta de Waraku in Marina Square.
it was really filling and very yummy!
haha haven't had such meal already :)
oh yeah! he also passed me my overdued birthday present
it was very nice. haha

it never fails to remind me of its presence
whenever i'm in Marina Square.

i'm happy happy~
my cousin lend me his twilight book! :D

so now i'm back to being a bookworm. well, at least for now.
haha i've been looking for some books to read,
although i was reluctant to read something so popular right now,
but i must say, it is quite nice.
It's amazing to find how similar the stories they tell, are to your life.

and i'm hoping someone have the other three books,
because i'll finish this book real soon. haha
but i wanna buy them too..
great. now i'm feeling contradicted by my thoughts. grr..

anyways, while chatting with aaron,
he told me about his chinese presentation.
weird huh? i never thought chinese would have presentation o.O
well, anyways here's an inspiring story:

a girl went crying to her mother,
saying about how she hates her life
and everything bad she is facing right now.
About how much she wants to give up.

And so her mother brought her to the kitchen.
she took out a carrot, an egg and grounded coffee beans.
Placed the three of them each in a pot of boiling water.
After a while, she takes all of them out.

The carrot, before placing it into the boiling water was hard,
after that, it became soft and easily cut.
(meaning to say that the carrot thought it was strong and tough,
but after meeting adversity[boiling water],
it became weak and fragile.)

Comparing an uncooked egg, it is watery and soft inside,
after placing it into the boiling water, it became hard
(meaning to say that the egg thought it was weak and will break down easily,
but after meeting with adversity[boiling water],
it became hard-hearted, and stubborn)

Lastly, it's the coffee beans.
The coffee beans turned the water brown and gave it an aromatic smell.
Unlike the other two, it changed the water instead of letting it change them.
(This meant to say that when meeting adversity,
the coffee beans changed the surroundings instead of letting it change them.)

So are you a coffee bean, a carrot or an egg?

Be like the coffee bean.
When things are at their worst,
you get better and change the situation around you
instead of letting it change you.

alrightly, lastly here's something to pass on! :)


everyone is beautiful in their own special way.
you just need to find the right person who finds you exceptionally beautiful.
because to the world you may be just one person,
but to one person, you may be the world :)

i'm feeling happy today!
i think you all can sense hahha.
eventhough things don't seem that great,
but something in me makes me happy.
and so i would like to spread the smile around~

be happy. stay happy. always and always :D

alrights i'm off to continue on my art history presentation slides.
hohoho. i can't say that i dislike U-art.
